Refund Policy

At Chilliwack New & Used Building Materials Inc., we know that projects change and sometimes those "perfect" French doors just don't fit the frame. We want to make sure you’re happy with your haul, so we’ve kept our policy straightforward.

Standard Return Window

To be eligible for a return, items must be in the same condition as when they left our yard and must be accompanied by the original receipt.

  • General Materials: You have 14 days (2 weeks) from the date of purchase to return most new and used building materials.

  • Appliances: We provide a 30-day return window on appliances to ensure everything is humming along as it should.

Exclusions & Final Sales

  • Custom Orders: Any items ordered specifically for your project (non-stock items) are Final Sale. These cannot be returned or exchanged.

  • Condition: Items that have been altered, cut, or installed are not eligible for a refund.

Unclaimed Merchandise & Storage

Space is at a premium in our yard! To keep things moving:

  • The One-Week Rule: Any items paid for but not picked up within 7 calendar days will be placed back on the floor for resale.

  • Reimbursement: If your item is resold due to a late pickup, you will be issued an in-store credit for the full amount paid.

How Refunds Are Processed

Once your return is approved, we will issue your refund through one of the following:

  1. Original Payment Method: For most credit, debit, or cash transactions.

  2. Company Cheque: In certain instances (such as large cash refunds or specific system limitations), a cheque will be mailed or prepared for pickup.

Pro Tip: Not sure if a used window or door will fit? Double-check those measurements before you leave! Our team is happy to help you measure twice so you only have to buy once.
